100 Buildings Strong: Tangle Brush Villa In a community called The Woodlands in Texas, there’s a building that marks a milestone for Accessible Space, Inc. It’s called Tangle Brush Villa and it is the 100th ASI building to be funded and constructed. It is the largest building we’ve built to date, with 60 apartment units, and our eighth property in Texas. Of course, what makes Tangle Brush Villa special are the individuals who live and make friends here. This is an active group that plans excursions, links up with local resources and makes use of the activity room computers. There’s a therapy tub, outdoor courtyard and community room. Approved pets are welcome.

Amid small rolling hills and heavily forested areas, seniors 62 and older have a new home—ASI’s first affordable senior apartment community in Texas! Many thanks go to our co-sponsor, the Bay Area Rehabilitation Center (near Houston) for making this development possible.

We’ve come a long way since our first buildings in 1980.  Read all stories »
