The referral and admissions process is designed to be accessible, and to provide and receive information with which meaningful and informed admission decisions will be made between clients, families/support systems, NCEP and other involved stakeholders.

Basic admission considerations include: diagnosis of traumatic or acquired brain injury, acute neurological impairment or diagnosis of cardiac condition; medically stable, voluntary involvement on the part of the potential client and viable discharge site/plan. We accept adults, adolescents and children into our day treatment program, and adults and adolescents 18 years and older into our residential program.

Each client is usually responded to within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Referrals received after 3:00 p.m. on Friday will be responded to on the next business day (the following Monday).

Each client receives a pre-admission evaluation with assessment of their strengths, challenges, barriers, identification of goals and proposed treatment plan. Admission decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

Our Admissions Coordinator works with case managers, families, physicians and individuals throughout the admissions process.
